Contributor Terms and Conditions

1. Contributor qualification & account management rules

1.1 You warrant that you are over 18 years of age, possess full civil capacity, and are legally eligible to participate in independent platform service cooperation.

1.2 You shall provide true, accurate, complete, and valid personal registration information for platform identity authentication and professional qualification review. You are solely responsible for maintaining account security, password confidentiality, and all operation behaviours under your exclusive account.

1.3 The following behaviours are strictly prohibited: multiple account registration, account sharing, account transfer, fake task submission, task brushing, and other irregular operations. HiveLabel reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently ban non-compliant accounts without prior notice.

1.4 All contributor qualification assessments, skill grading, task permission allocation, and quality evaluation results are independently determined by HiveLabel’s official quality control system, which are final and binding on all contributors.

2. Task execution specifications & official quality standards

2.1 You shall complete all assigned computer vision labeling, LLM response ranking, audio validation, data enrichment, and review tasks strictly in accordance with official task guidelines, operation manuals, quality standards, and time limit requirements.

2.2 All submitted task deliverables must be original, accurate, standardised, and compliant. You are prohibited from random filling, perfunctory submission, plagiarism, malicious tampering, fake data creation, and other behaviours that damage task quality.

2.3 You fully acknowledge and accept the platform’s multi-pass QA verification, random spot audit, consensus scoring, and hierarchical review mechanisms. Any work that fails official quality inspection will be rejected, returned for rework, or deducted from settlement rewards in accordance with platform rules.

3. Reward calculation & settlement mechanism

3.1 Task unit prices, reward calculation formulas, bonus mechanisms, and settlement cycles are subject to the official real-time rules and task-specific instructions released by the platform.

3.2 Only tasks that pass all platform quality reviews, consensus verification, and formal official acceptance are eligible for formal reward settlement.

3.3 HiveLabel reserves the right to deduct settlement fees or refuse payment for unqualified work, invalid repeated submissions, fraudulent operations, rule violations, and malicious low-quality output.

3.4 All final settlement results reviewed and confirmed by the platform are conclusive. You agree not to initiate unreasonable disputes, compensation claims, or complaints based on subjective personal dissatisfaction.

4. Intellectual property rights ownership

4.1 All task outputs generated by you on the HiveLabel platform, including but not limited to labeled datasets, annotation content, classification tags, data enrichment results, review reports, and verification records, are exclusive commercial work products completed for HiveLabel’s enterprise service projects.

4.2 You irrevocably assign all intellectual property rights, copyrights, usage rights, and derivative rights of all platform task outputs to HiveLabel. You have no right to retain, copy, screenshot, export, disseminate, resell, store, or privately use any platform task data and deliverables for any purpose.

4.3 You waive all rights to claim intellectual property ownership, residual usage rights, additional royalties, or residual economic benefits for all completed platform tasks.

5. Permanent confidentiality obligations

5.1 All task data, project details, client confidential information, labeling specifications, platform operation logic, internal quality rules, and unpublicised service data accessed during task execution are strictly confidential commercial information of HiveLabel and its cooperative enterprise clients.

5.2 You shall not disclose, transmit, record, screenshot, disseminate, or utilise any confidential information for personal gain or third-party purposes during and after the cooperation period.

5.3 This confidentiality obligation permanently survives account cancellation, cooperation termination, and service termination. You shall bear full legal liability and compensate for all losses arising from confidentiality breaches.

6. Non-employment independent cooperation relationship

6.1 Your participation in platform tasks constitutes a pure independent service cooperation relationship. No labor relationship, employment relationship, partnership, agency relationship, or affiliated relationship is established between you and HiveLabel.

6.2 You are not entitled to any employee benefits, social insurance, welfare subsidies, holiday benefits, or statutory labor protections under any regional labor laws.

6.3 You shall independently bear all personal operation risks, tax liabilities, and third-party legal liabilities arising from your task execution and platform cooperation behaviours.

7. Account suspension & termination rules

HiveLabel has the right to immediately suspend task permissions, freeze settlement rewards, or permanently terminate contributor qualification without prior notice if you engage in the following behaviours: repeated low-quality task submission, intentional violation of quality standards, disclosure of confidential data, fake settlement fraud, malicious damage to platform operation, and other serious rule-breaking behaviours.

8. Policy revision & governing law

We reserve the right to update and revise these Terms according to business iteration, platform upgrade, and regulatory compliance requirements. Continued participation in platform tasks after policy updates constitutes automatic acceptance of the revised clauses. These Contributor Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
